Frugal Things for Oct 1-17

Image
New blog! Welcome! 1. Restocked our pantry. I bought spaghetti sauce makings, bullion as our old bullion was in a big clump, and on sale chicken thighs at 1.49lb! 2. Savings to spend next month: trips to upstate NY and to GA, birthday gifts for our adult children (all 3 are November babies!), and Christmas. 3. Caring for my health: walking, eating healthy, enough sleep, being with friends and family. Dr appointments coming up! 4. Caring for my spiritual life: Bible study, prayer, journaling, involvement at church, sending cards. 5. Spending less this Christmas. Spending 30 on each child. 10 on family members. 40 on a family member who lost her husband and has 5 adult sons. Also 30 to our Haitian girl we sponsor through Compassion International. How have you been Frugal? Simple? Minimal? Please share International comments!
